Kowtow (est. 2006) was founded by New Zealand-born designer Gosia Piatek. Kowtow has been a champion of the sustainable fashion movement since its origin; the company is continuously implementing new and innovative ethical and sustainable processes into its core mission. Kowtow sources all of its fairtrade organic cotton from India, along with renewable and sustainable fibers. Piatek works closely with fairtrade certified manufactures in Mumbai and Kolkata.
