Dinadi (est. 2016) was founded by couple Preston and Mirjam on their living room floor in Kathmandu, Nepal, out of a vision for creating fair employment opportunities for Nepali women. Every employee is trained in knitting for free, and are each set up for success through the deployment of programs such as health benefits, retirement savings, and covering the school tuition costs for their children.
Dinadi sources its 100% Merino wool from South Africa, and 100% Yak down from Tibet.
Each Dinadi piece is deeply personal, from the signature on each label that you can match to a knitter via their website, to the hand made lokta-paper boxes used as packaging and designed to be re-used.
